For 25 years, SUPERSEAL Dimpled Foundation Membrane has been protecting homes all over North America. It's a plastic dimpled sheet made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. It's mechanically fastened to the foundation wall and can be used on all types of foundations on the inside or on the outside. 

It's available roll heights of 3'6", 5'0, 6'0, 6'7", 7'4", 7'11" and 8'11".  All rolls are 65.5' long

TYPICAL FOUNDATION INSTALLATION

Tools required

  • Measuring Tape
  • Marker / Chalk line
  • Mastic (seams & overlaps)
  • Nail Gun & Nails
  • 1¼" x 3/16" Tapcon Screws
  • Hammer
  • Screw Gun & screws for ICF's (see ICF instructions)

Calculating materials required

  • Measure from your footing to your finished grade height and lineal feet to be protected.
  • Allow 12" overlaps
  • Select the roll(s) required
  • Ensure you have enough Molding to cover the top, sides, and around window wells (If applicable)

Fastening Systems for Exterior Foundations

DimpleGrip Molding is a heavy-duty molding. Features 3 rows of
dimples on the back for enhanced strength for fastening to the foundation wall. It's primarily used on Horizontal and Vertical edges. It can be flipped over for sloping edges. DimpleGrip Molding uses less fastening plugs.

Membrane Cap can be used on horizontal, vertical, and sloping
edges. It’s more cost effective than DimpleGrip but does require more fastening plugs.

Depending on the situation, you can use a combination of both moldings to save money. DimpleGrip for the top horizontal edges and Membrane Cap for long sloping areas.
