Question
Henry Aquino –
Can I install vinyl plank on top of this subfloor membrane?

Ross Carmen –
Henry, with vinyl plank flooring we recommend our carpet and laminate subfloor. It has a much higher compressive strenght and over 2000 dimples per square foot. You can use the ALL IN ONE if your flooring is a click together and over 10 mm thick…thanks
Question
Cate B –
Do I have to attach my all-in-one membrane to my concrete floor (screws, etc.)? I’m putting a floating plywood subfloor overtop for sheet vinyl flooring.

Ross Carmen –
the membrane does not have to be attached to the floor. Use a tongue and groove plywood and glue the joints. Check with the flooring manufacturer as some of them recommend an additional layer on top of the tongue and groove for sheet vinyl. (Either 1/4′ or 3/8 in the opposite direction as the T&G plywood……filling and sanding the joints).
