Question
Sue Snide –
If you place screws through this product to install a plywood subfloor over it does it still act as an effective moisture barrier?

Ross Carmen –
The screw almost self-seals itself. A few tiny holes in the membrane are a non-issue.
Sue Snide –
Let me further clarify my previous question. The contractor that worked on our basement installed this membrane on our concrete basement floor which is wet/damp, uneven and not at all level. He then installed plywood over it and attached it using concrete screws every few inches. Will the membrane still provide an effective moisture barrier considering the way it was installed?
